CruiseHelper wants its guides, tools and comparisons to be accurate, clear and current. Cruise operations and provider terms can change quickly, so we distinguish between correcting an error and updating information that was accurate when published.
How to report a possible error
Please use our Contact page and include the page URL, the statement or result you believe is wrong, an explanation of the issue and a source or supporting evidence if available.
How we review corrections
We check the published wording or tool output against the strongest available evidence. For operational cruise information, that may include passenger-specific cruise-line instructions, official port or VTS data and transport-operator information. For prices and commercial terms, we check the relevant provider’s current information.
What happens when we find an error
If an error materially affects the meaning or could mislead a passenger, we will correct it as soon as reasonably practical. Where useful, we will add a short correction or update note explaining what changed.
- an incorrect terminal, date, travel time or location
- provisional information presented incorrectly as confirmed
- an inaccurate price, cancellation term or provider feature
- a material omission that creates a misleading impression
Routine updates and minor edits
A new terminal assignment, revised timetable, changed hotel package or updated parking price is normally an update rather than a correction if the earlier version accurately reflected the evidence available at the time. Minor spelling, formatting and broken-link repairs may be made without a correction note.
Conflicting information
When reliable sources conflict, we avoid presenting one position as settled fact without explaining the conflict. Passenger-specific joining instructions normally take priority over generic schedules for an individual traveller.
Record keeping
We keep source records and WordPress revision history where practical so important changes can be traced.
